The Leo House has surpassed some very tough times, including 9/11, recessions, and the Covid pandemic. We humbly recognize that we wouldn’t have survived these tough times without the generosity and support shown by our global community.

On this Giving Tuesday 2023, if you are able to make a contribution to our charitable efforts by donating to The Leo House we would be so grateful. The Leo House is a 501(c)(3) Catholic Agency in good standing, exemption number GEN 0928. We are a non-profit and charitable organization that uses donations to offer discounted rates to first responders, people visiting sick family members at New York City hospitals, as well as to provide discounted lodging for Sisters or Clergy. Charitable Efforts Supported by Giving Tuesday Donations:
- Supporting Families Visiting the Sick – We help to alleviate stress by offering reduced pricing for families visiting sick or hospitalized family members receiving care at a facility in or near New York City.
- Supporting Heroes – We offer a discounted rate to service members and their families to thank our heroes for their service and to alleviate financial stress for them and their families. This discount includes military, law enforcement, and fire department personnel.
- Supporting our Public Ministry – We offer lodging for sisters to support their public ministry and their service to the community.
- Full-time Priest-in-Residence – A full-time priest-in-residence, Father Ed Conway, is available at The Leo House to minister to anyone who needs and asks for counsel or guidance. He provides Holy Mass and Confession at scheduled times.
- Meetings and Special Events – The Leo House offers conference room space and lodging at a greatly reduced cost for meetings aimed at bringing peace and reconciliation to our world. We also host special events with inspiring speakers.
